>Just take a moment to read this: Quitting in style
“Quitter” has become just another executive dirty word. Why is it that popular belief claims “Quitters leave people hanging; abandon teams; let go of their obligations and responsibilities, resign from making an effort…”
It’s not always that simplistic.
Sometimes leaving is the greatest form of dissent. Yet another choice, but if you do it in style, acknowledging the possible gap you may be creating, things can work out for the better.
Articulating why you are quitting, how you are doing it and what you plan to do next can sweeten the bad taste and the disappointment, and instead help to bridge the next phase of whatever it is you are doing. Because in the end, you will be doing something different.
What interests me is helping sharp, intelligently curious people overcome barriers that may be keeping them from achieving more. Passion and boldness can make the art and science of leading easier to navigate. So, have fire; feel with your brain; don't be afraid.

One response to Quitting: Sounds more negative than it actually is
